Terms of service and refund policy

What you buy, what you get, when you get it, and when you get your money back.

Who you are dealing with

Services on this site are provided by Sami Habbal, a sole proprietor based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Contact: shabbal1@charlotte.edu. Payments are processed by Stripe; this site never sees or stores card details.

What is sold

Written diagnosis, $250, paid in advance. A written analysis of one broken payment or automation workflow (for example a Stripe webhook, an n8n, Make or Zapier flow, a queue, or a retry path) that contains: a reproduction of the failure, the mechanism that causes it, and the exact fix. What arrives is listed on the delivery checklist. It is delivered by email as a written document and, where useful, as code in a repository you control.

Fix work, quoted separately. If you want the diagnosed failure fixed, the fix is quoted in writing after the diagnosis, typically $600 to $1,200, and the $250 already paid is credited against the first fix invoice. Fix work starts only after you accept the written quote.

Technical writing. Articles are commissioned per piece under a separate written agreement with the publication.

The 48-hour clock

The diagnosis is delivered within 48 hours of receiving the materials it needs: the failing workflow or repository, read access or an export, the last three failures with timestamps, and one person to ask questions. The clock starts when those arrive, not when payment arrives. Weekends count. If more material is needed, you will be asked once, in writing, and the clock pauses until it arrives.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days. To request one, email shabbal1@charlotte.edu with the order reference.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to share the materials you send. Production credentials are not required and not requested; read access, exports, or a staging environment are preferred. You remain responsible for deploying any fix in your own systems.

Confidentiality

Everything you share is used only for your engagement, is not shared with anyone else, and is deleted on request after delivery. Nothing about your systems is published without your written permission. Public articles on this site describe only the author's own work or anonymised, consented examples.

What is not promised

The deliverable is the analysis and the fix as described. No specific business outcome, revenue, or uptime is guaranteed. Liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; the terms in force when you paid apply to that purchase.
